Our Roofing Products

Your roof is your home’s first line of defense against the elements. Understanding the various components and materials that make up a strong roofing system can help you make informed decisions when it comes to repairs or replacement. Here’s a brief description of our common roofing products.

Shingles

Asphalt shingles are the most widely used roofing material, favored for their affordability, ease of installation, and versatility. They are made from a fiberglass mat coated with asphalt and ceramic granules. Available in a vast array of colors and styles, including architectural (laminate) shingles that mimic the look of more expensive materials like wood shakes or slate, asphalt shingles offer good fire resistance and a typical lifespan of 20-30 years.

DaVinci Roofscapes

DaVinci Roofscapes manufactures synthetic roofing tiles that emulate the appearance of natural slate and wood shake. These composite materials are engineered for superior durability, offering excellent resistance to impact, fire, and extreme weather conditions. DaVinci roofs are a low-maintenance alternative to natural materials, providing a long lifespan (often 50 years or more) without the issues of cracking, curling, or insect infestation associated with their natural counterparts.

Metal

(AG-panel, R-panel, Standing Seam)

Metal roofing has gained popularity for its exceptional durability, longevity, and energy efficiency.

It comes in various forms:

  • AG-panel and R-panel are exposed fastener panel systems commonly used for agricultural and industrial buildings, but also for residential applications where a more utilitarian aesthetic is desired. They are cost-effective and relatively easy to install.
  • Standing Seam metal roofs feature concealed fasteners and raised seams that lock together, creating a sleek, contemporary look. This design offers superior weather resistance and a very long lifespan, often exceeding 50 years. Metal roofs are lightweight, fire-resistant, and can be made from recycled materials.

Tile

(Clay and Concrete)

Tile roofing, often associated with Mediterranean or Spanish architectural styles, is available in both clay and concrete.

  • Clay tiles are known for their exceptional durability, natural beauty, and resistance to fire and insects. They are very long-lasting, often exceeding 50-100 years.
  • Concrete tiles offer a similar aesthetic to clay at a lower cost, and can be manufactured to mimic wood shake or slate. Both types of tile are heavy, requiring a robust roof structure, but provide excellent insulation and weather protection.

Wood Shake

Wood shakes are thick, wedge-shaped pieces of wood, typically cedar, split from logs. They offer a rustic, natural aesthetic that weathers to a beautiful silver-gray over time. While highly attractive, wood shakes require more maintenance than other roofing materials and are less fire-resistant unless treated. Their lifespan can vary significantly depending on climate and maintenance, typically ranging from 20-40 years.

If your roof is nearing the end of its life, now is the time to plan for replacement before costly damage sets in.
